
Two of the very biggest names in the video production field have come together.
Adobe has agreed to purchase Frame.io for an eye watering USD$1.275 billion – yes BILLION – dollars deal. Adobe says it will “utilise Frame.io’s technology to support and develop online video collaboration in Premiere Pro and other Creative Cloud applications.”
There has been no official press release as such, and after containg Adobe’s PR company here in Australia, I was pointed to an online blog to get more info. You can read it here.
